Welcome to Newcomers! We’re happy you’re here in Lake Forest / Lake Bluff. By now you may have already unpacked a few boxes, found a favorite local restaurant, and even begun learning your way around town. Now it’s time to start making this your home. It’s time to join Newcomers!
The Newcomers’ Club of Lake Bluff & Lake Forest is a social organization designed to help new residents of our two communities come together to get to know one another. The Club has been around for more than 60 years and currently has over 225 member families. We host a wide variety of fun, members-only events for individuals, couples and families. Check out some of our activities online, or come to a prospective member event to meet a few current members and learn more about what Newcomers' has to offer.
We all know what it’s like moving to a new community. Newcomers' is here to help make your transition an easy one. We hope you’ll join us to make new friends and have fun! We look forward to meeting you.

New Year, New Members Happy Hour
Please join us at the Lake Bluff Brewing Co. to welcome our newest members to the club. We will have some delish bar snacks from Maevery's to share and feel free to purchase any of the beverages LBBC has to offer (not just beer! They have a selection of wines, cocktails and NA options too). Bring your spouse, a date, a friend or come solo! This should be a fun, casual evening to connect with our new neighbors in a cozy, local setting. An exclusive opportunity to get the inside scoop on our local schools!
Join your fellow Newcomers for a private audience with our Lake Forest and Lake Bluff School Superintendents. Dr. Matthew Montgomery (D67 and D115) and Dr. Lisa Leali (D65) will provide an update on the state of our schools and answer any questions you may have about the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff public school systems.

Newcomers' members can download the free "Wild Apricot for Members" App that provides quick access to our member directory, upcoming events, your member profile and event registrations. Use the same login information that you would for our website. It offers quick access for much of the website functionality. (Some functionality such as joining a wait list or listing a guest name at registration is handled through the main Wild Apricot website, and is not supported in the app.) The Wild Apricot for Members App is available on iOS and Android through the app store. |
