Welcome to Newcomers! We’re happy you’re here in Lake Forest / Lake Bluff. By now you may have already unpacked a few boxes, found a favorite local restaurant, and even begun learning your way around town. Now it’s time to start making this your home. It’s time to join Newcomers!

The Newcomers’ Club of Lake Bluff & Lake Forest is a social organization designed to help new residents of our two communities come together to get to know one another. The Club has been around for more than 60 years and currently has over 225 member families. We host a wide variety of fun, members-only events for individuals, couples and families. Check out some of our activities online, or come to a prospective member event to meet a few current members and learn more about what Newcomers' has to offer. 

We all know what it’s like moving to a new community. Newcomers' is here to help make your transition an easy one. We hope you’ll join us to make new friends and have fun! We look forward to meeting you.

You are cordially invited to an evening of laughter, intrigue, and masked mischief for our most anticipated Newcomers event of the season!

Join us for a delightfully dramatic night of masks and “murder,” where secrets peek out from behind every fabulous feathered façade and new friendships are made along the way. As cocktails flow and playful alliances form, one wildly unexpected “demise” will kick off an evening full of laughter, intrigue, and theatrical suspense.

If you are inclined you and your fellow guests will trade clues, share suspicions, and follow the twists and turns of the evening to unmask the culprit before our masked menace makes a glamorous getaway.
